PolyU – Non-pharmacological Chinese medicine treatments for cognitive impaired subjects associated with long COVID

Yat Hei Medical Center has successfully tendered the Rehabilitation Therapy Science Department of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a clinical research site for the study on non-pharmacological Chinese medicine treatments for cognitive impaired subjects associated with long COVID. The clinic is collaborating with the West Kowloon TCM and Pain Centre and the Hung Hom Chinese Medicine and Pain Center to provide participants with twice-weekly acupuncture treatments for 8 weeks, primarily focusing on acupuncture on the head with electric acupuncture. Our goal is to improve the cognitive condition of patients with long COVID, addressing issues such as memory decline, sleep disturbances, and anxiety, in order to enhance their quality of life. With Good Clinical Practice, we are honored to help the Universities and patients as a bridge.
